Sharing an album of pictures I saw on another site showing the damage. One thing missing is anything on Orient Bay. This is really sad to see and I fear the worst for CO... If you know anything please post.

There are a few great sites on Facebook, like sxm or bust, everything st martin and orient bay village life sxm. Also forum http://www.traveltalkonline.com is an excellent resource! All of them have very current info with many members reporting from the island.

I came across this yachtie video blogger with some good footage of SXM and some good interviews. Really gives you a good idea of what's going on. If you watch carefully, there's someone wearing an "I survived Louis" T shirt.
