any experiences vs Club Fantastico?
Replies

At least one of our members has stayed there and gave it a positive review. I haven't heard anything negative about it.

If you stay there you will need to have a car even though it is close to the Village. It is on top of one of those steep hills that only a goat could climb on a regular basis.

Do a search for "Club Fantastico."

This thread doesn't have much information, but it is all positive:

Great thanks, considering going back to Orient soon. Stayed at Jardin O and it was fine. Just looking for a CO place closer to the village.
Fantastico is close to the Village (entrance is next to the Village), but I don't think you will be walking. It has a great view. In one of the threads I posted pics of Club O from Club Fantastico's hill. I think it was in my review of 2018.

Thanks!
I recall it being a pretty steep hill for walking. We’ve also stayed at once was called Green Kay Villages, but not sure who runs that now.
Here is the picture of Club O from Club Fantastico's hill. Club O buildings are the forlorn white buildings beyond the brightly colored buildings.

Thanks, beautiful!
Just wish club o was still going. Stayed there just once.
So do I.

We stayed there for 15 years, and booked our reservation for the next year when we were there in 2017. That must have been bad luck as Irma hit a few months later, and here we are. We did go back in 2018 and stayed in the Plaza Apartments directly across from The Village. A nice trip as we went to Club O Beach everyday for 10 days.

We also stayed at Club O in April 2017, but but was our first time. We also rebooked for 2018, but sadly it wasn't meant to be. I am so glad we at least got to experience it if only once, as others are sad that they will never get the chance.

The walk from Residence Adam and Eve down to Yellow Sub next to the beach is around 10 minutes. It is right up the street from La Plantation and Esmeralda. The walk back up isn't that bad.
Just returned from Adam and Eve. Nothing but good things to say. The walk to Club O going to the beach is easy, it's the coming back after a day at the beach that's no fun. We'll go back, but need to figure out a way to get a ride at the end of the day. We don't rent a car because we never leave the Orient area and the drivers down there scare my wife to death. They have a wonderful guy managing the property who does everything to do with the place. Never even met the owners as they were never around. I guess Caroline (?) wanted to do more with the boat and less with hotel management. They're also, according to the manager, redoing another resort very nearby called Sea Pearl that is to open next year with the same motif. Our favorite part was the beautiful pool after coming back from the beach. Felt to good. Wife is already picking out a room for next year. Great time, but it's good to be home.

Frederic is the manager and he helped us cut a bent extended handle off our suitcase so we could at least check it onto our flight to get home. We have nothing but good things to say as well. We went in February and have already booked for next February. We don't rent a car either, but went with another couple who do and they gave us a ride to/from Club O every morning. We just had to walk down to the restaurants and back every evening.

If you are in the dining room at A&E and look at the residence directly above (to the left of the waterfall), that is Sea Pearl.
