Boat Naked

Hey, we arrive at SXM on October 18. I am eager to work on an all over tan.

1) Does anyone know if Cupecoy beach has any sand? Or is it all rock and surf?
2) has anyone rented a boat?
3) what is a good charter to take to Tintamarre? Do they still do mud there?
4) I have been to SXM once. What are nude beach alternatives to Orient?
5) I have not seen a single topless female outside the nude beach section. Is being topless that unpopular among women? Is this just an October thing? Like cover-up October?

The authorities decided a number of years ago that the mud baths were a health hazard, so it is no longer done. The last time we were there, nudity was confined to a small section to the left of the Tintamarre beach–facing the beach as one pulls in.

As far as I could tell, the only women who walked all of Orient Beach topless were from Club O or the Club O beach after Club O was destroyed by Irma. The first time we were there, we stayed at the Alamanda and on the first day used the chairs provided by the resort. That was the first time I had been topless in a very public place. Quickly grew accustomed to it.

I noticed that the one or two other women who were topless, put their tops back on whenever they left their chairs to go into the water, walk on the beach or go into one of the bars. I thought that was silly, and didn't put my top back on unless we were returning to the Alamanda. Of course I was the only topless female in the bars or walking the beach.

Later that day we got brave and went to the Club O beach where we went naked for the first time. Quickly became accustomed to being naked in public. Never used the chairs on the prude side again. I think that was in 2004.

When we would walk the entire beach, I wore only a string or a small pareo. The string only covered that which had to be covered, and only just barely covered it. The pareo would be blown up by the wind on the way down, totally exposing my butt. On the way back, the wind would blow it up in the front, totally exposing that which should have been covered.

A time or two, the knot got loosened by the wind and by my occasionally tugging it back down, so I just took it off and walked naked the rest of the way back. The men enjoyed it; the women not so much. They are such prudes.

I knew the gendarmes, if they were there, would be at the taxi stand next to Pedros, so I just kept a careful watch, ready to put the pareo back on if necessary.

I doubt that much has changed, so the only topless women you will probably see walking the beach will be from the Club O beach. It seems to be such a waste to have the opportunity to be topless and not take advantage of it.

While there are other nude beaches on the Island, the Club O beach has more going for it than the others–in my opinion. It is large and clean, thanks to Cedric, chairs and umbrellas are available as are food and drink. We would reserve the same chairs for our ten day stay and would get to know our neighbors. Really no reason to go anywhere else.

Thank you. My wife and I were there last November. I worked on an all over tan as often as I was alone or someone else broke the ice. Otherwise, I had a skimpy bikini or thong. I kick myself for not getting to know my neighbors in my condo who mentioned they saw us at Orient Beach. We could have gotten to know them a bit and maybe my wife would show me her breasts in public which is quite a thrill for me.

But yah, for being a place where topless is fully OK, where is the view? At least some of us are trying to set a free, fun example.

Last November, first timer.
By the way, my parents in law suggested we go to St Martin many times. We finally went last November. Mom and Dad, had been there with some of there fun-loving boat friends. Jackie told that that they had to go skinny-dipping on Orient Beach. She got them set up with a large rock to rest their suits on while swimming free. They spent quite a bit of time in the water and only had eyes for each other. When walking out they were surprised to run into a touristy couple that looked like they might have been from the same conservative town. They laughed about that for decades. Losta fun. I guess that was Mom giving me and her daughter permission to do as the Romans do when in Rome. I'm all in.
Last November, I visited Long, Red, Plum, Happy, and Orient and saw at least one person enjoying the beach the way it was meant to. So, I participated in my own walk of each beach while getting full sun. I ran into one fun couple on Long and Red. I walked up and ask if this was a nude beach. She said that every beach she is on is a nude beach! She scolded me for carrying my shorts instead of going hands free. And then she told me that if I wanted to see nude people, I needed to go to Cupecoy and she explained how I missed it while trying to find it. I was a bit embarrassed that she assumed that I wanted to see naked people...

By the way, her husband told me to pick up my stuff and join the party they were having.

We were there last in June on our 15th trip and my wife goes topless on all the beaches on the island without ever having a problem. Most, if not all of them had a few others as well. I bet she's been topless on every single beach on SXM and NEVER had an issue. She does enjoy the attention she gets when it's cruise ship day and we're on Mullet beach though! :) We stay in Maho and spit time between Cupecoy and Orient for the most part but will check out the others.
Thanks. There were just enough topless women that a women could go topless with some social permission. We rented a boat for the day for $275. It was super!

Yes, cruise ship day does make it interesting, especially on Club O Beach where I am not just topless, but naked as well. They all want to look, so I give them something to look at.

We also love Club O on cruise ship day! It's fun to watch all the gawkers and then guess if you'll see any of them naked by days end!
It's fun to walk past the gawkers naked. Gets some interesting reactions
It's funny watching some of them try to look without looking. Others just try hard to concentrate on looking straight ahead blush

Life's a beach!
One guy pulled out a camera. I looked him in the eye and kept walking toward him. His wife made him put the camera away.

I've seen a bunch of them not try to hide it that they are looking, but just stare straight at it. When the tide is up, they can be as close as 6'. That's close enough to score a homerun.

It's fun to when they walk down the beach "talking on the phone" when you know damn well they are filming! We love to watch the younger crowd build up courage throughout the day... First the tops come off in the water, then the bottoms, then the mad dash back to their chairs..... Then by days end Naked is Normal!
