Next Trip!

Just booked next years trip! Never to soon to know your going back to Club O. Best thing is knowing your going back, but the worst thing is having to wait for it to get here. The count down is on!

6 days!! 11/12-11/26
Our next trip is April 6, which means 5 months, or 20 weeks, or 140-some days. Days is too hard to deal with - I hate triple digits! I think we'll work in weeks. 20 sounds SO much better!!

My wife and I just took a cruise with a port stop there. We were excited for an afternoon of sunbathing. I was a little nervous at first. After we got our suites off and got in the water all the nerves went away. It was so relaxing. What a beautiful beach. We loved it so much that we decided to plan a vacation to club orient next year. Does anyone have any good or bad reasons why not to come in May? Thank you
May is great..we have been there a few times in May. It is a little less crowded from High season but everything is open
Thank you so much. We were a little worried that there might not be much open. We heard a lot of things close down on the off season. We are really looking forward to it

Everything is still going strong until about the end of August. September is slow. We have been as late as August, and most businesses were open. I think last year Club O closed during September. You will be fine in May. We were there in May/June last year. All was well.

You made a good choice in going to Club O. We stayed the first two trips at Alamanda and Cap Caribes, but spent the days at the Club O beach. The third year we really didn't have a good reason for not staying at Club O. Haven't looked back since.
We did the same except we stayed in Grand Case. We like the village of Orient so we can enjoy the restaurants and bars at night. Club O is somewhat secluded after dark unless you want to drive, which I don't

How is Papagayo during the summer? A couple nights ago we were sitting next to a couple who were there in May and they said there were only about four other couples eating. A lot of our fun times involve dancing, but with so few people there I'm not sure it would be much fun.
Thank you! We are officially booked for May 14th. Soooooo excited. Any advice on little things to bring that we might not think of would greatly be appreciated, as well as close restaurants to hit, grocery store etc... May seems so far away lol
If you're staying at Club O and planning on cooking, bring any favorite cooking utensils. The kitchens are stocked with the basics, but can be a bit odd. The first time I stayed there, the kitchen came with a non-stick skillet but only metal utensils. We brought our own skillet and non-stick safe utensils the second time.
Don't expect to find things like a garlic press or measuring cups. The ovens have no temperature indication other than high to low.
Other than that, all I need is sunscreen, toiletries, and something minimal to wear if walking down the beach beyond the club. (and maybe a hammer in case they are harvesting the coconuts again. Getting into a fresh coconut with a multi-tool and a rock was interesting but tasty.
We like to bring a collapsible cooler for the beach and yeti cups so ice melt is at a minimum
april 21st for 15 days[bonjour]
